The Alex is a hub of supports and outreach services for people experiencing mental & physical health challenges, addiction, food insecurity and homelessness. Because life’s not simple, our solutions rarely come ready-made. And that’s OK. We tailor them to the person before us. The open hearts and creative minds at The Alex see what’s really needed – and invent the solution.
These past 19 months have been difficult for non-profits everywhere and the impacts of the pandemic has increased the need for our services. This year, we are launching an ambitious campaign to raise awareness and critical funds for The Alex.
With your support, we aim to raise $250,000 to fill the gaps and address the pressing needs of our community members. We’ll be pounding the pavement, shouting from the rooftops, and painting the city orange, all to involve YOU in our work and encourage more Calgarians to support our cause.
