Our volunteer needs are as unique as our volunteers! Because of this, we may not have an immediate match for you based on skills or availability, however, we encourage you to apply online and we will contact you when something comes available.

Your education journey
The Alex works with accredited institutions to provide students in a variety of fields including social work, nursing, child & youth care studies, medical office administration, and other areas related to the organization’s work.
We also benefit tremendously from having students within our organization who offer a fresh perspective on the great work we do.
*Please note: at this time, we cannot accommodate practicums where a Registered Psychologist, Master of Social Work or Nurse Practitioner is required to supervise/precept
