Family Health
The primary goal of our Family Health Centre is to improve quality of life in our communities through a comprehensive model of healthcare. We believe health is more than just the absence of disease – it’s a complete state of physical, mental, emotional, social and economic well being. We address our clients’ needs through a cost-effective approach, reducing congestion in emergency rooms, mental health facilities and the justice system.
Services
In addition to primary health care, Family Health Centre clients can also access a wide range of complementary services, including:
- psychiatrists
- psychologists
- youth counselling
- chiropractors
- chronic disease nurses (e.g. hypertension, diabetes)
- massage therapy
- physiotherapy
Access
Clients can be referred to the Family Health Centre through our Health Bus, other social service agencies, or through self referral.
